Poop, Pray, Praise, and Panes πŸ’©πŸ™πŸ™ŒπŸͺŸ

As much as we all enjoy a good "poop and pray" session (let's face it, it's a great place for some personal reflection!), there are times when you might want to connect with God outside of the bathroom.

I'd like to share a prayer technique that helps me  – I call it the "Poop, Pray, Praise, and Panes" which is my take on something I learned called the β€œStained Glass Prayer.”

The beauty of this practice is that it allows you to pour out your problems, prayers, and praises with just a couple of simple supplies! And, let's be real, if your mind ever wanders during prayer (which, ahem, might happen to even me πŸ˜‰), this method is incredibly grounding!

Here's a loose guide to how I go about my β€œPoop, Pray, Praise, and Panes” but feel free to let your creativity run wild:

  1. Grab any paper and something for writing - a pencil, crayons, or even an old junk mail envelope will do the trick!

  2. In the center of your paper, jot down something encouraging like "Trust in the Lord" or a heartfelt message like "God, I need you."

  3. Start drawing lines extending from the center, creating a web of lines until your page resembles a stained glass window. No need to stress about making them perfect; the variety adds to the charm, I promise! πŸ˜„

  4. In each "pane" of your stained glass window, place your β€œpoop” (any challenges you are facing), prayers (e.g. health, patience, for a specific person, etc.), or praise to God (e.g., prayers answered, blessings in your life).

  5. Take as much or as little time as you need to fill in the panes, adding color, patterns, or even doodles as you pour your heart out to God.

Let the Holy Spirit lead the way as you practice your faith and connect with the Lord. One size does not have to fit all, so feel free to express your beliefs in a way that feels authentic and meaningful to you.

When you are finished, you will have released your worries and given your praises to God, while also creating a lasting reminder of your time spent with Him.

Share your creations in the comments or send me an emailβ€”I'd love to see them!"

Happy "Pooping, Praying, Praising and Pane-ing," my friends! πŸ’©πŸ™πŸ™ŒπŸͺŸ
